Taste of the Danforth Reminders

Taste of the Danforth is fast approaching. For all restaurants and pubs interested in participating, your application deadline was July 22. For all retailers, your application deadline is tomorrow - Weds. July 28. Please remember that you are not able to sell anything in front of your property or from your existing patios unless you have registered to participate in the 2010 Taste. A-Frame Signs on the Danforth: What you need to know

Starting on June 1, 2010, Municipal Licensing and Standards (MLS) will be enforcing the A-Frame permit by-law. Over the past few months, businesses have received the permit application form. At this time only street level businesses may apply for an A-Frame permit. Part of the application form requests a letter of approval from your BIA office. Get Automated Notifications from Toronto Police Service

The Toronto Police Service has introduced a new service that allows for automated notification by phone or SMS of special messages released by Toronto Police. Changes to Garbage & Recycling Pickup

Collection schedule changes on November 1, 2009.
