The Danforth BIA Board invites all members to participate in Earth Hour 2010, this Saturday, March 27 from 8:30pm to 9:30pm.  Danforth restaurants, retailers and businesses are encouraged to join this global effort to help climate change by lowering your light levels for one hour.  Last year the City of Toronto participated in Earth Hour; and, through a collective effort to lower or turn off lights across the city the equivalent of approximately 300,000 homes were removed from the grid.  Toronto is hoping to better last year's results by an additional 15% this year.

I will be distributing posters and tent cards to all members starting on Wednesday, March 24.  We ask that you display these materials in your businesses to help promote your participation in Earth Hour to all of your customers and clients.
