Dear Ward 14 BIAs and TABIA,
On Thursday May 11th City Council will vote on my motion, MM6.1, calling on the city to officially request the federal government to extend the Canada Emergency Business Account (CEBA) loan repayment deadline.
A request from City Council would send a clear, strong message to the federal government and our local MPs that the city is watching this critical issue closely and action is needed to support our local businesses.
Can your BIA members please send a message of support for this motion to City Council and Councillors?
I have included sample wording (attached) for your message of support - feel free to write your own.
