Preserving our Great City Town Hall

When: 2:30-4:30, Sunday, September 11

Where: Eastminster United Church,  310 Danforth Avenue (Near Chester Subway Station)

Councillors Paula Fletcher (Ward 30) and Mary Fragedakis (Ward 29) invite you to a Town Hall meeting to discuss the City’s budget and the proposed cuts to services and programs.

Round #1 of the deliberations concluded with a marathon Executive Committee meeting that attracted 300+ people. Residents of all ages, homeowners and renters, students and business owners, artists and senior citizens, from one end of the City to the ot…her came to speak out about preserving our great City.

98% of them spoke passionately against closing libraries, privatizing our long term care centres and municipal run childcare centres, closing Riverdale Farm, and eliminating our award-winning environmental and heritage preservation programs.

A wide selection of services currently being delivered by the City are at risk of being cut or reduced and your views are important. Come and have your say!
