Faces of the Danforth: Albert at Der Dietemann Antiques

For our first business profile of #thedanforthbia we have Albert of @der.dietemann antiques.

He established his business at 747 Broadview in March 1990. He was originally an economist but got frustrated with the business world. He took a liking to vintage lights and started his business part time to test the waters. It eventually became the full fledged business that it is today.

His favorite part about the Danforth are the people. He says no matter what your interests are you will find likeminded people. He jokes about how when he says to his wife he'll be home in 10 minutes, it never actually is 10 mins because he always gets chatting with someone in the neighborhood.

Side note, he doesn't only deal in lighting, you can often find great cabinets. He's a great go to if you need any inspiration or guidance in finding the best antiques for your home or project.
