Information Updates for Broadview Danforth BIA Members

Good Afternoon All,

Below please find information on various topics that may be of interest to you:
  • For our restaurant and bar members there is a link for the City's new zoning rules and updated licensing application and fees.
  • For our retail members there is a link to a City survey regarding holiday operations - yes, this still seems to be a "thing".  So please have your say and complete the survey.
  • Councillor Fletcher is hosting a 2025 City Budget Town Hall this coming Monday, Feb. 3 starting at 7pm.  This is a virtual meeting on zoom.  If you wish to attend please click on the link to register.
Also, the Federal government had announced that small business owners with direct deposit would receive their Carbon Tax rebates between Nov. 25 and Dec. 3 of last year (2024).  Some of you have reached out to me to let me know that this hasn't happened.  I've now reached out to our MP Julie Dabrusin with this issue.  Could you let me know if you have or haven't received this rebate - please just send me an email.

Please scroll down for all of the various links.

Thanks,
Susan
