Join the Broadview Danforth BIA on June 12 and 13 for outdoor match-day fun, live music, family-friendly activities, local performances, and a special viewing party for Canada’s opening match against Bosnia and Herzegovina. The celebration continues through July 2 with musicians performing in CafeTO parkettes across the neighbourhood, representing cultures and countries from around the world. Contrast therapy specialist and Certified Thermalist, Denise Tompkins has set up the most intense outdoor contrast therapy space located on The Danforth in Toronto. Unique experience for those booked in as solo, double or triple person session. We offer full guided contrast therapy sessions and regular contrast therapy sessions. For beginners we recommend booking in for a coaching/ guided full session.
At Element Outdoor Sauna, you will experience a real ice tub, and yes, part of the idea is to have that good stress, called hormesis, but, you will feel quite different within yourself for the first time ever, guided by Denise. Most humans walk around with aches, pains, inflammation, cold hands and cold feet - all of this is not normal. Denise teaches how to connect to your inner power using contrast therapy. Your nervous system, your cellularity, your vascular system, and your brain will reconnect within the tranquil space. We are open all year round. All seasons. Tackling fears, anxieties and instilling calm - using heat and cold therapy.
The pieces - barrel sauna is dry heat. The ice bath is very special. It is grounded like earth, and has zero chemicals. (no neurotoxins). Microfiltration and ozonation ice tub that actually makes ice.! These two key pieces are the focal point, crucial for human thermoregulation and thermogenesis. Every person feels so alive and present. This is the point. Contrast therapy needs to be consistent practice, so we have memberships for the regulars.
